Wide receiver Pierre Garcon is inactive with a foot injury for the Washington Redskins, taking away one of Robert Griffin III's options.
Garcon had been questionable with a sore right foot and the team said he would be a game-time decision. Aldrick Robinson is the likely replacement.
St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Rodger Saffold will start in the home opener, a week after he was hospitalized in Detroit for what the team called a significant neck strain. Saffold returned to practice Thursday.
Offensive tackle Tim Barnes, elevated from the practice squad to the active roster during the practice week, is active for the game.
