The Houston Texans are in desperate need of some quarterback depth - but they won't get it from free agent David Garrard.The former Jacksonville Jaguars QB says he has received offers from a number of teams - the Texans among them - but isn't ready to return to the field as he continues to recover from back surgery.Garrard has been linked to a number of clubs since being cut by the Jaguars prior to the start of the season.The 33-year-old isn't expected to be available to play again until next year.Houston has been looking for help at the QB position after losing both starter Matt Schaub and backup Matt Leinart to season-ending injuries. The club signed Kellen Clemens last week and added Jake Delhomme on Tuesday to back up rookie T.J. Yates.
