The Dallas Cowboys are playing without Tony Romo in their Week 17 winner take all game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
And they are pulling out all of the stops, like Gavin Escobar.
After catching a pass from Kyle Orton, Escobar took off towards the endzone leaping into the air and cartwheeling over an Eagles defender. The result was a touchdown that kept the Cowboys in the game early.

During his weekly radio appearance, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made it clear that he’s committed to Tony Romo as his quarterback.
He also believes head coach Jason Garrett is a better coach now then when he got the job in 2007.
Jerry Jones: "I am big time committed to Tony Romo." Jones said Garrett is better coach than he was when first...
While Tony Romo was at home recovering from back surgery, his dedicated wife was at Cowboys Stadium cheering on her husband’s team. NBC flashed to Candice Romo sitting in a suite taking in the Cowboys-Eagles game on Sunday night. Candice is a regular at Cowboys games, where she enjoys watching her husband play. Tony underwent […]
On Sunday night when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East division title they will have to take the field without their beloved quarterback Tony Romo. It was reported earlier on Friday that the Cowboys $100 million dollar man would miss the remainder of the season with a herniated disc that required surgery. It was originally reported earlier on Monday...

Tony Romo's season is officially over. He was placed on injured reserve Friday after undergoing back surgery -- and days after owner and general manger Jerry Jones said the Cowboys quarterback was suffering from back spasms and could possibly play Sundayagainst the Eagles.
Now it will be up to backup Kyle Orton to lead Dallas to its first playoff berth since 2009.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes Tony Romo will be ready to go by the time OTAs roll around. In turn the Cowboys are not expected to use a significant draft pick of adding a quarterback in the 2014 NFL Draft.
“My expectation is that one of the pluses for having had it done as early as this morning is that it would really contribute to him being able to get...
It's apparent that Hollywood writes the NFL scripts. Well tha Dallas Cowboys' at the least. Maybe that show "Dallas" was real! Who shot J.R.? Okay really though, how else is it possible that the Dallas Cowboys lose the last game of the season 3 years in a row to each divisional opponent who has denied them the right to go to the post season. The Giants...
The official final week of the fantasy football season is upon us for the folks whose championship game falls in Week 17. And not surprisingly, the season of injuries has continued to march on, with a ton of big names continuing to go down left and right. It’s been a pretty exciting fantasy season this year and I’m glad to have been able to be a small part of your huge successes...
The Dallas Cowboys are staying home again for the playoffs. No joke, even without Tony Romo playing the Cowboys found a way to throw the ball to the other team to lose a winner take all game for the NFC East for the third year in a row.
In three years with Jason Garrett as the Cowboys head coach the team has been madly consistent going 8-8 each season.
And of course...
There are a number of components about the Cowboys offense as we reach the end of 2013 that can be examined as it pertains to a Week 17 winner-take-all matchup with Philadelphia (without their starting QB Tony Romo) that actually falls in line with the 2013 Cowboys that played 15 games before this (that all included their starting QB).
For instance, as we look carefully at how...
Kyle Orton will start in place of Tony Romo for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Given Romo’s history of choking and the fact that the game will decide which team advances to the playoffs, some people feel that Orton may actually give Dallas a better chance to win. Terrell Owens is […]
For awhile it looked like something might happen for the Dallas Cowboys; that maybe even though they lost their starting quarterback to a back injury Kyle Orton was going to be able to pull it out in the end. Well--he got his chance and--sigh--once again they blow it with an interception on the final drive of the game. The scene made Jerry Jones turn away in anger and disgust and...
IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys and Eagles … winner takes it all.
That’s where we are once again. The Dallas Cowboys are no strangers to this game, having faced the Giants and Redskins the last two years in Week 17 finales with the NFC East title on the line. We know how the Cowboys fared in those games but even without Tony Romo and Sean Lee, can the Cowboys turn the tide this...
