Plenty of interviews have already been conducted by the Rams’ brass regarding their still vacant general manager position, yet the spot still remains unmanned for the time being. Many believed that a hiring would come quickly after new head coach Jeff Fisher finished assembling the main components of his staff, but there are still several questions about just who tops the list of potential candidates for the gig. Minnesota Vikings personnel executive George Paton is the only man to get a second interview since Fisher was hired, but the team has also had Les Snead of the Atlanta Falcons in for two sit-downs only one came prior to Fisher becoming the head coach. Tom Gamble of the San Francisco 49ers and Steve Keim of the Arizona Cardinals have also talked with management, but recently a new name has emerged.
