The Green Bay Packers are giving fans a chance to own part of an NFL team.
The Packers, the league's only publicly owned team, are offering 225,000 shares that will go on sale Tuesday. Each share costs $250 plus a handling charge.
Stocks are available only to individuals, not businesses, with a 200-share cap. The sale is set to run through Feb. 29.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, with 961,818 votes, leads all NFL All-Stars in balloting for the 2012 Pro Bowl, NFL.com announced Thursday. 2012 Pro Bowl voting will continue through Monday, Dec. 19, by going to NFL.com/probowl.

It amazes me how well Aaron Rodgers holds up despite the stunningly high number of sacks he takes. This week Football Outsiders surveys NFL QBs and finds out who takes a beating and why they do so.
