Brandon Ghee, who has spent the season on the practice squad, will take Leon Hall’s roster spot after his agent tweeted Monday afternoon that he had been called up to the 53-man roster. Hall will be placed on injured reserve today after tearing his right Achilles in Sunday’s 24-17 loss to the Steelers on Sunday. The team is expected to make the announcement at Marvin Lewis’ 3 p.m. press conference. This is Hall’s first major injury in his five years with the Bengals. He had the team’s longest streak of games played at 74, including starting the last 66. Hall had an interception in the second quarter before suffering the injury late in the half. Ghee, who was drafted in the third round last year, has battled injuries during his two seasons with the Bengals. He played in just six games last year and suffered a groin injury in Week 11 against Buffalo before being placed on injured reserve a couple weeks later.
