The beat down the Giants received at the hands of the Saints was tough to watch. So what does it reveal about the team going forward?
I think it's fair to say the Giants are a better team than we saw on Sunday. But clearly there are problems that need to be addressed –- primarily on defense.
Pass Rush
I know Drew Brees has a quick release, but seriously, how was the Giants front four so ineffective –- especially with Osi Umenyiora going up against a second string left tackle?
Brees had all day to dissect the Giants secondary. Maybe Chris Canty could have helped if he was healthy. Maybe Justin Tuck’s foot is a major problem. Maybe Bill Sheridan didn’t find creative ways to bring more heat. Or maybe they just got whipped, plain and simple. It’s a mystery to me.
C.C. Brown is a Liability
It seemed like I saw him getting beat on every down field play. The Giants are really going ...
