Despite winning the Super Bowl, the Giants will be entering the 2012 NFL Draft with many question marks and also many needs to address. The 2011 Giants were exposed in many areas. Aside from Jason Pierre-Paul, the Giants did not have a game-changer on defense (during the season). Someone who can dictate a quarter, a half or even a game by their play-making ability. The Giants have many needs entering the Draft, which includes OL, LB, RB, CB, DE, TE and WR. The Giants could have as many as 8 picks in this year’s Draft (compensation for Barry Cofield and Kevin Boss), most likely the additional picks will fall somewhere between the 4thand 6throunds. As for the Giants' 1stround selection, keep this in mind that the last time the Giants drafted a OL in the 1stround was in 1999, when they selected Luke Petitgout out of Notre Dame. As for linebackers, the last time the Giants drafted a LB in the 1stround was in 1984 for Carl Banks out of Michigan State. This could all chang...

  • I agree since we won the SB the odds of a great LB being avail in the first round are slim compared to what we could get on the O-line.
We always go BPA and it has worked out so far but this is what I think. pending FA I see manningham leaving and Smith coming back so we wont need a WR taken before the 4th round. Plenty of cheap Med end WR's Edwards, Smith, Plax.

Eli Manning Has Better Stats Than These Hall of Fame Quarterbacks…

Kurt Warner recently came out and said that Eli Manning wasn’t a Hall of Fame quarterback this week: “He’s had two great playoff runs, or his team has had two great playoff runs,” Warner said. “But I also look at the rest of his career. I mean, he has an 82 . . . quarterback rating throughout his career. You know, he’s had five of his eight...

Pierre-Paul thinks Giants should give Osi what he wants

Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora hasn’t been happy with his current contract, pretty much since the day he signed it. Love Eli? Rivalry’s What Rocks

Talk about reversal of fortunes. Who’d a’ thunk at the start of NFL 2011 it’d be Manning-the-Younger (Eli) hoisting the hardware in February as opposed to Manning-the-Elder (Peyton), whose career would be teetering on the brink? Not many, and even fewer Giants’ fans and East Coast media. The low expectations never seemed to faze the League’s new 4th Quarter phenom. Through...
