Found September 03, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Ralph Vacchiano reports that the Giants brought in free agent RBs Beanie Wells and Jonathan Dwyer for workouts on Tuesday. Howard Balzer adds former Seahawks and Patriots RB Leon Washington to that list as well. Clearly, the Giants are looking for some additional behind David Wilson now that Andre Brown will be out for at least a portion of the 2013 season season following a leg fracture he suffered in the team’s final preseason game. Wells has generated almost no interest the entire offseason since the Cardinals cut him loose. A recent report indicated that the Steelers were concerned about Dwyer not taking his job seriously. This is the first reported visit for him. Washington was just released by New England, so he hasn’t had a lot of time to make the rounds and visit with prospective teams. I wrote earlier this week that Dwyer’s cutting was more...

Cuts Like A Knife: Pit Throws Jonathan To The Dwaiver Dwyer

Some things gotta hurt more then others.  Like when you’re at the club and all the girls keep passing you up left and right at the bar and then finally, when all the hot guys are gone and you’re left there competing against the doofy looking guy with the Bill Gates haircut and glasses who’s wearing a sweater vest and you say to yourself ‘man, the next girl’s just gotta...

Jones sparks Dwyer's departure from Steelers

The Steelers finally ran out of patience with Jonathan Dwyer tired of his lack of dedication to his craft. Felix Jones who played well enough in a loss Thursday to the Panthers to convince the Steelers that Dwyer was...
