While the New York Giants continue to wait on Victor Cruz to make up his mind on whether or not he wants to earn a lot of money in the 2013 season, the Giants are turning their attention to another free agent wide receiver in former Browns do-it-all man, Josh Cribbs. According to a report via Pro Football Talk, the Giants are bringing in Cribbs on Thursday for a visit. Cribbs isn’t a threat to take Victor’s place in the Giants offense, but he would be a logical choice to put back on kickoffs with David Wilson becoming more a featured member of the offense, as he is expected to start or at least split duties with Andre Brown in the 2013 season. Wilson sparked the Giants special teams last season, as they had not had a return for a touchdown since December of 2007 prior to Wilson’s against the Saints in week 14. For much of Cribbs career, he has been considered one of the best return man in the game.
