Despite an injury plagued 2013 season and being accused of quitting on his teammates and stealing money from the New York Giants by the team's radio analyst Carl Banks, cornerback Corey Webster plans to play in 2014, according to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports. After becoming the weakest link in the Giants' secondary in 2012, Webster missed 12 games in 2013 with groin and ankle injuries. In all likelihood, the Giants will void Webster's contract and he will hit the free agent market on March 11th.A few teammates thought NYG CB Corey Webster was going to retire after disappointing '13. Not so. Intends to hit free agency + play in '14.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) February 26, 2014At this point in his career, signing Webster would only make sense for a team looking to add depth to their secondary for a bargain price. Given his struggles to stay on the field in 2013, teams would likely only consider Webster as a one-year rental, and probably wouldn't be willing...
