But, this year it hasn’t been so. The Giants defensive front, which was a crucial part in their run to a super bowl last season, has been virtually non-existent on gameday, although they haven’t had problems with headline-making quotes during the week.

This past week, in response to Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson saying he thought the Browns might be able to run the ball along the outside of the Giants defense, defensive end Osi Umenyiora said, “If he looks on tape and he thinks he sees some candy, he can come try and get it,” according to the New York Daily News.… Read more

  • I for one wish they would just shut up and play. It doesn't matter what another player says, it's just talk. It's like some of the diahrrea that spews from the mouth of some of the barkers on here, like latininfertility and fartsmella. The Giants need to let their play do the talking from now on. If the D steps up like it did last year nobody will stop them because they can put up some crooked numbers offensively.
