The New York Giants were scheduled to face an NFL franchise
this afternoon at 1 o'clock, but instead, the Oakland Raiders showed up. And as
you may have expected, it wasn't pretty...it wasn't pretty at all.
Even with a tremendous amount of players missing and their
franchise quarterback dealing with a foot injury, Big Blue was able to
absolutely manhandle Al Davis' team to the tune of 44-7. Yet amazingly, that
score doesn't indicate nearly how bad of a beating the Giants handed Oakland.
I could run down and analyze any number of different stats
to show dominant New York really was, but at the risk of causing mass suicide
in Oakland, I think I'll just move along.
POSITIVES:
Everything - It's
not often you can find at least one positive in every player and every aspect
of the game, but today happens to be one of those special instances. And while
