New York Giants quarterback and Super Bowl champion Eli Manning has certainly noticed all of the media attention the New York Jets have been getting in training camp.
Everyone loves the drama of the Mark Sanchez vs. Tim Tebow story line.
In fact, Manning loves it too. That’s because he gets to do his work in peace without all the hype of a defending champ returning to the field.
BEST OF MAXIM
YES WE CAN!
President Barack Obama chimed in on the potentially caustic situation the Jets face with having both Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez on the roster.
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was a guest on NFL AM on the NFL Network on Wednesday morning and was asked if the Giants are now a dynasty.
Manning responded by saying the Giants have plenty of things of improve.
“All we can worry about is getting better. We can’t worry about other teams or where the media is,” said Manning.
Manning agreed that it’s...
In order to be a good quarterback in the NFL, a player needs good throwing mechanics, a good arm and the ability to read defenses. In order to be a great quarterback, however, a player needs intangibles. Perhaps one of the biggest influences on both a quarterback's physical and intangible skills is something slightly out of his control -- confidence. And that's exactly why...
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has been having fun with the media and all of their coverage of the New York Jets and quarterback Tim Tebow.
“I told David Carr to take his shirt off while we were running sprints after practice,” Manning said on ESPN Radio (via the NY Daily News) on Thursday, “to see if he can get the same coverage.”
What’s really funny...
Not sure if this guy is on his way home from NY Jets training camp, but I think it is safe to assume he has more of an allegiance to Tim Tebow than anyone else. Note the stick alongside the “TEBOWIN” license plate, just in case anyone was confused about what it said. H/T Deadspin
As you probably have heard (it involves NY Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow for Christ's sake), President Obama called into a sports radio show on Ohio's 97.1 WBNS-FM:
“I don’t like the idea of a...

Running quarterbacks. They are truly a defensive coordinator’s worst nightmare. Just when you think you have them in your clutches they pull off some nifty move and dart up field for a big gain. Just when you think a team is going to go three and out someone like Michael Vick, Tim Tebow or Cam Newton [...]
The NFL quarterback ratings in Madden 13 are out. Green Bay Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers is No. 1 with a 99 overall.
The game also have plenty of love for New York Giants QB Eli Manning coming off a Super Bowl winning season with a 97 overall (4th on the game). Eli Manning's brother, Peyton Manning, is rated at a 93 overall for the Denver Broncos. All of the QBs in the top...
The 2011 Jaguars were an utterly unwatchable squad of slapdicks, though they did somehow manage to defeat the Ravens on Monday Night Football. During the off-season, Jacksonville seemed prime to acquire hometown hero and TV blackout deterrent, Tim Tebow. However, given a preference of which team he would prefer to be dealt to from the Broncos, Tebow opted for the heathen Jets over...
Recently at the Dallas Cowboys' training camp, owner and general manager Jerry Jones told his fans, "Y'all should come to Cowboys Stadium and watch us beat the Giants' asses." The 5,000 Cowboys fans that attended cheered after hearing the remark.
It's honestly amusing that the very outspoken Jones has already lit...
