NFL Injury Report:
The New York Giants are easily the most banged-up squad in
the National Football League entering Week 5. The team has seven players listed
on the injury report as out or doubtful, including key contributors Hakeem
Nicks, Ramses Barden
, Kenny Phillips
and David Diehl
Nicks will miss another week of action due to his leg injury
, and fellow wide receiver Ramses Barden could be out as well as he recovers from a concussion
sustained last weekend against the Philadelphia
Eagles. Phillips and Diehl are each dealing with knee injuries.
Beyond Nicks, Barden, Phillips and Diehl, the Giants either
could or will be without defensive tackle Rocky Bernard
(hamstring) and linebacker Keith Rivers
(hamstring) when they
take on the Cleveland Browns this weekend.
