Part three of way too many. I said it. Right in the title. It’s there for posterity. They tell me on the Interwebs, things live forever. So it is, this statement shall remain. Yes, Eli Manning has earned the elite label. And, yes, the discussion of “elite” and the media analysis of such a moniker has been absurd. The point is…I’ve been converted. My wife has been in my ear for years, and I’ve always battled back. During those years, my stance was firm and not driven by any hatred or disdain of the New York Football Giants. Time and again I’d assert with an air of authority that Eli was somewhere in the “7-12″ range or thereabouts when it came to NFL signal callers. It was always Brady, Peyton and Brees. In recent years, Rodgers and Rivers had entered the discussion. But, even a few seasons back, I did not think myself out of line in throwing Eli in the mix with names like McNabb, Romo, Roethlisberger, Vick, Palmer, Hasselback and...

Eli Manning vs. Peyton Manning

Ironic, as Super Bowl XLVI Indianapolis becomes the center of the universe this week, the only Manning not in the news is Cooper. Peyton Manning has been the best quarterback not named Brady over the last decade. The Colts...

Patriots like QB Tom Brady can’t believe how tough Giants QB Eli Manning is… and mega-links!

Giants QB Eli Manning was sacked 28 times this year, the second most in his career. He was hit countless more times. Yet he keeps getting up and keep firing. This is one underrated aspect of Manning. Wilfork: Eli Manning "can almost be compared to some of the greats in the game"

By Brian MacPhersonFOXBORO -- Thanks in part to the long shadow cast by his older brother and in part to his stoic demeanor, Eli Manning has tended to fly under the radar in conversations about the top quarterbacks in the NFL.

There's a good reason for that, of course. Thanks to his propensity for interceptions, including an NFL-worst 25 a year ago, Manning has...

NY Giants Will Be Biggest Test Of Patriots Suspect D

This is not the Denver Broncos or the decidedly one dimensional Baltimore Ravens the Pats will be playing next Sunday. This is a balanced offensive attack, with great receivers in Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks...

Does QB's legacy rely just on the Super Bowl?

This Super Bowl could create one of two storylines for the future of quarterback debates. If the Patriots win, Tom Brady will be vaulted to the forefront of the "greatest quarterback of all time" list. If the Giants win, Eli Manning will start a discussion of if he is better than his brother, Peyton, and if he is one of the elite quarterbacks of his era. However, are...
