With everything going wrong for Ahmad Bradshaw right now, the Giants need to give rookie David Wilson more playing time at RB. He gives the Giants a whole new spark of energy in the running game and obviously in the kick return game as well. David Willson had 227 yards on kick returns, 100 rushing yards which turn into a total of 327 all purpose yards and scored 3 touchdowns including a 97 yard kick return TD. This past Sunday's game was David Wilson best game of his rookie season and if the Giants stick with him for the rest of the way. Then he gives the Giants a great chance of getting an explosive rushing game going with his fresh legs that gives the Giants advantage over teams. The timing is their for David Wilson to takeover as the Giants starting running back while Ahmad Bradshaw is nursing a knee injury, although he will play this Sunday against the Falcons. The Giants need David Wilson to play like an all-pro running back to make things easy for Eli Manning and rest of the offense if they want to make the playoffs this season.

Here We Go Again: David Wilson

Finally going to get my shot Juan… I have probably talked about David Wilson 4-5 times this season as a pick up.  This time, I mean it.  Wilson has the leash off and Coughlin looks like he finally trusts the kid and the Giants need the kid going into this final stretch.  After tearing up the lowly Saints, Wilson showed an ability that no other skill player on the rookie as the...

Tuck to Wilson: Cut out the backflips

David Wilson has been doing backflips to celebrate the touchdowns he scores, but Giants teammate Justin Tuck wants him to stop.

Wilson sparks Giants to key win over fading Saints

When the New York Giants made their run to the Super Bowl a year ago, a 99-yard touchdown catch and run by Victor Cruz against the Jets seemed to be the ignition point. It was a play that woke up an inconsistent team and turned it into a power. If the 52-27 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday turns out to be the victory that gets the Giants (8-5) going again, everyone is...

Giants Slam Saints In Meadowlands Shootout: Hero/Zero Of The Game

The New York Giants enjoyed a good old fashioned butt-kicking on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Any time a team scores 52 points, like the Giants did against the New Orleans Saints, many players were most likely involved in the good times for the winning squad. For the Giants, there were plenty of heroes to be had, but the most notable was a guy who may...

Baldwin, Wilson lead wire additions

Week 14 in most leagues either started fantasy playoffs or was the final game to determine the seedings for playoffs starting in Week 15. Some fantasy performers - Kyle Rudolph, Larry Fitzgerald, A.J. Green, Chris Johnson - let down their owners with disappointing performances. It was hard to register a win if you went up against the Seattle defense who in some formats scored up...

Giants' Bradshaw misses practice, uncertain for Falcons

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw did not practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday's game at the Atlanta Falcons is uncertain. Bradshaw's practice time is routinely monitored due to a chronic foot issue, but he also suffered a sprained knee in the Giants' 52-27 victory over the New Orleans Saints last Sunday. "I'm not going to rule him out of...

Injury SPIN: Bradshaw Knee Could Sideline Him…

Ahmad Bradshaw suffered a knee sprain during the Giants drubbing of the Saints. Luckily for the Giants they draft as well or better than any team in the NFL and they were prepared. David Wilson stepped and broke records with his rushing and special teams performance. It's looking very likely that Bradshaw will be at best limited and at worst sidelined for Week 15.

Rookie David Wilson shines in Giants win

New York Giants rookie RB David Wilson ran a kickoff back 97 yards for a TD, and banged in two more for 327 Total yards. "To come up and have a breakout game like this is an excellent feeling," Wilson said. "You want to have a good game every game. I went out there and my teammates went out there and we played great and put up 50 points." The final score of...

Giants RB Bradshaw not ruled out for Atlanta game

Giants coach Tom Coughlin says he has not ruled running back Ahmad Bradshaw out from Sunday's matchup in Atlanta, despite a knee injury. But Bradshaw, injured vs. New Orleans last Sunday, missed practice on Wednesday, and Coughlin kept open the possibility that rookie backup David Wilson could start against the Falcons (11-2). ''I'm not going to talk about the percentages...

Giants Destroy Saints in New York: Five Things We Learned

I love football and I will watch almost any game no matter who is playing, regardless of the lack of meaning that a particular contest could have. But when a game appears on the schedule that is make or break for teams, you really have my attention. The 7-5 Giants desperately needed a win to stay ahead of the Cowboys and the surging Redskins, while the Saints last hope for the playoffs...

Saints Nation: Defensive and Special Teams Player Grades @ Giants

Special teams is much tougher to grade than defense because a lot of times mistakes are hard to pin point. But in theory, the entire unit deserves an F for how they covered kickoffs. That was a joke and David Wilson pretty much won this game on his own. It was also an up and down performance by the defense, which looked ok at times and seemed to revert back to early season form at...
