NY Giants Central:
Shawn Andrews is the latest Giants offensive lineman to suffer injury; a back injury that plagued him in Philadelphia has flared up and caused him to miss three days in a row of practice.
He still holds out hope he will play against his former team, but Coughlin insists that Andrews is a game-time decision.
Andrews played several seasons after being a first round pick with Philadelphia, but his last two seasons were cut drastically short due to back surgery and the Eagles had to move on.
He signed with the Giants just before training camp and has spent the entire time trying to prove he is worthy of a starting spot. With Shaun O’hara out at center, they let Andrews start at tackle and moved David Diehl to his natural position of left guard against the Seahawks.
They played really well together, unfortunately Diehl was injured in that game and has been officially ruled out for his second straight game this weekend.
