New York Giants
Millikin Big Blue
The New York Giants
(1-1) play the Carolina Panthers
(1-1) Thursday night at Bank of America Stadium
from Charlotte, NC
Game starts at 8:20 pm on NFL Network (TV) and WFAN (Radio).
favorites over Giants
Spread is - 2.5 points.
My picks is the Giants
Big Blue will enter the jungle playing the Panthers tomorrow night without 3 of the starters in Hakeem Nicks, Ahmad Bradshaw and David Diehl, but I still think they can win this game with Eli Manning.
Here are the three keys for the Giants in order to win:
(1) Eli Manning needs to have another MVP type game if they are going to outscore the Panthers because Carolina's offense is tough especially when they have a QB named Cam Newton.
(2) The pass rush has to get to the QB (Cam Newton) to make it easy for their defense and the secondary who have been awful as in unit in the first two weeks of the season.
(3) Do not turn the football over. The Giants turn the ball over three times this past Sunday against the Buccaneers who scored 21 unanswered points, even though the Giants won. They cannot do that this time around or they will lose.
Out: WR Hakeem Nicks
(Foot), RB Ahmad Bradshaw
(Neck), WR Dominek Hixon
(concussion), T David Diehl
(Knee), DE Adewale Ojomo
Questionable: CB Michael Coe
Out: G Mike Pollak
Questionable: LB Thomas Davis
(Hamstring), T Byron Bell
(Ankle), RB Jonathan Stewart
(Ankle), S Colin Jones
Final score is Giants
BEST OF MAXIM
Denver, CO….It’s been almost four months since Peyton Manning dwindled his choices of destinations down to three, ultimately choosing the Denver Broncos to call home to finish his career. The Rocky Mountain region has been full of excitement since that day back in March, and will really get jump started in two weeks when training …

New York Giants Hakeem Nicks was selected the NFC player of the week after his dominating performance against the Buccaneers with 10 catches for a career-high 199 yards and one touchdown.Nicks’ 199 receiving yards were the highest for the Giants since Plaxico Burress had 204 yards against the Rams on Oct. 2, 2005. Nicks’ total was the sixth-highest in franchise history. All the...
Thursday night's matchup between the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers could very well be one of the the most exciting games of 2012, as both teams are coming off of impressive wins in week 2 and fully expect to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Wait, what? The Super Bowl? Before the season started, most analysts were in agreement that the Green Bay Packers would be world...
Andre Brown and Ramses Barden wouldn't start for the Giants with a healthy roster, but both played big Thursday.

Wow, doesn’t it seem like the Giants just played a game?
Maybe it’s because the excitement of an epic finish is still fresh in our
But really it’s because the Giants will be squaring off

No Hakeem Nicks? No Ahmad Bradshaw? No problem. NFL teams often use the phrase “next man up” when starters go down with injuries, and the Giants exemplified the importance of depth by adhering to it on Thursday night. Their offense looked as good as it has all year, as Eli Manning had his way with the Carolina secondary and reserves Andre Brown and Ramses Barden enjoyed career...
New York Giants (1-1) at Carolina (1-1), New York Giants favored by 1 1/2 The Giants have a litany of injuries on offense coming into tonight’s game. They will be without RB Ahmad Bradshaw, WRs Hakeem Nicks and Dominek Hixon, and offensive lineman David Diehl. Despite that adversity, I still like the Giants to win [...]
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Picking up where they left off in their last game, the New York Giants steamrolled the Carolina Panthers, in part by unleashing a new weapon. The success nearly tired out the Giants. Andre Brown ran for a career-best 113 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Giants cruised to a 36-7 victory Thursday night at Bank of America Stadium. The Giants, who got five...
What a game it was for the New York Giants as an entire unit. Everything was working for them, their offense put up 36 points, their defense forced 3 Cam Newton interceptions and even their special teams got into the action with 2 forced fumbles. While the team performed well as a whole, it was 2 players who put in serious work in fantasy this week.
I will start with the player...
The New York Giants got an all-time passing performance from Eli Manning to come out on top last week. With Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers up next, it's possible that the Giants will need another spectacular game from their star quarterback Thursday night.
The high-profile matchup of QBs with contrasting styles will be on display when the Giants visit the Panthers in a...
