New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks did not practice on Friday, putting their availability in jeopardy for this weekend's game against the New England Patriots.
Bradshaw has a cracked bone in his foot, but sources close to the team say he is downplaying the severity of the injury and intends to be in the lineup on Sunday. That contradicts a report in the Newark Star-Ledger which stated that Bradshaw will be out "at least several" weeks and that surgery is being considered.
Bradford has had surgery on both his feet and ankles in recent years and still has screws in his feet.
The 25-year-old Bradford played through discomfort in last week's comeback win over the Miami Dolphins, finishing with 13 carries for 50 yards. He has 440 yards rushing and five touchdowns this season.
