New York Giants running back David Wilson is very confident in himself, so much that he believes he’ll be in the Hall of Fame some day.
“I think at the end of my career, I’ll be in the Hall of Fame,” said Wilson, per Bob Glauber of Newsday. “I know myself, and I know [when] I have guys around me that feel the same way, which I feel I do. When I get my opportunity, the sky is not the limit. I think it’s past it. You have to believe in yourself to do good things. This is how I feel.”
Wilson compares himself to birth control.
“I’m like birth control,” Wilson said. “You have to believe in me. Like birth control, 99.9 percent of the time I’m going to come through for you.”
So far this season Wilson has been one of the most explosive kick returners the Giants have ever had and he’s shown some signs of life as a running back over the past couple of weeks. But he still has a lot to learn.
