Earlier today, David Carr decided not to head down to Tampa Bay to join the Buccaneers. Now, he's chosen where he will sign: right back where he was last season. The Giants have agreed to terms with Carr, Eli Manning's backup in 2008-09 and again last season, according to someone informed of the progress of negotiations between the sides. The person, who requested anonymity because the deal hasn't been signed and announced yet, said Carr was mulling a more lucrative offer from an unidentified team but decided to return to East Rutherford instead. Terms of Carr's deal with the Giants were not immediately available.
