Sportsday:
New York CB Aaron Ross has been ruled out of Sunday night's game because of a hamstring injury.
The Giants' Corey Webster has established himself as an elite cornerback. The most recent evidence came in New York's win over the Redskins, when he shut down Santana Moss.
But there is a significant drop-off from Ross to Terrell Thomas, who struggled against Antwan Randle-El (seven catches, 98 yards).
The Cowboys exploited a backup in the opener against the Bucs. Sabby Piscitelli, who was torched repeatedly, was starting at safety because of Tanard Jackson's suspension.
Don't be surprised if Jason Garrett schemes to attack Thomas.
