The New York Giants seem to enjoy coming in at the last minute ad trying to swipe a player away or at least make it interesting.
The Giants have expressed interest in free agent linebacker Desmond Bishop who was released Monday by the Green Bay Packers.
Bishop had expressed he would choose between the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs after meeting with the two, but reports indicate the Giants could be making a play for the middle linebacker.
“The Giants and Jacksonville,” Bishop said, via Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com.
“The Giants and Jacksonville are the next two that are interested. Actually, the Niners called but of course, you know, they’re kind of set over there. I appreciate their interest in me regardless. But the Giants, which is a real good situation, and Jacksonville as well.”
