The Giants have signed kickoff specialist Rhys Lloyd. Lloyd will likely be a replacement kicker for a week or two, until K Lawrence Tynes can make it back from a quad injury. As a corresponding roster move, the Giants waived/injured CB Woddny Turenne. If you recall, the Giants tried to sign Lloyd in 2010, but lost out, as he signed with the Vikings. Lloyd has been in the league since 2007, spending time with the Panthers. He has 64 touchbacks to date and averaged nearly 67 yards per kickoff.
