The New York Giants were very busy on Wednesday by signing veteran offensive lineman Sean Locklear, who spent last season with the Washington Redskins.  He’s hoping to come in and compete for the open spot at right tackle.

Locklear can play guard or tackle, but he’ll have a shot at coming in and showing what he can do once training camp rolls around.

The Giants also signed former Patriots cornerback Antwaun Molden, who’ll have an oppurtunity to come in a compete.

The 27 year-old Molden recorded 36 tackles and 2 interceptions in 2011.

Sanu tweeted, “Great workout today”, but he didn’t mention a specific team. Sanu is projected to be selected in the first or second round and the Giants could end up drafting him in order to replace Mario Manningham, who...

Osi Umenyiora isn’t OK with coming off the bench

New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora is not only unhappy about his contract, but he’s not too fond of coming off the bench behind Jason Pierre-Paul either, according to Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Post. “I don’t like being a backup, I can tell you that,” Osi said. “It worked for us last year, but I was coming of an injury or whatever. But I see myself as...

Washington Redskins Cheerleaders: Masters of Holding a Football in a Bikini

The Washington Redskins cheerleaders, the First Ladies, are celebrating their 50th year in existence this upcoming season (although strangely no one has remained on the squad for the entire time) and as part of the final selection process for the team, the Redskins made the final auditions public (and sold tickets because hey, they aren't a charity—and SOMEONE has to pay the...

Giants trading for Keith Rivers?

According to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger, a rumor popped up in a New York Giants fan forum that the Giants are close to trading for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers. Garafolo believes there might be some reason to believe this rumor could be true after checking into to it last night. Rivers is also in the New York City area right now, which could be a coincidence...

Jabar Gaffney goes off on his soon-to-be ex-wife, Lito Sheppard over Twitter

Jabar Gaffney’s marriage does not seem to be in a good place if the tweets sent from his verified Twitter account are any indication. Thursday was apparently his anniversary with his wife, but he says she was not around. Based on a tweet he sent last Saturday, his wife is messing with free agent cornerback Lito Sheppard, who is also Gaffney’s cousin. Below is a censored version...

Jabar Gaffney Politely Expresses Displeasure For Wife, Lito Sheppard

Jabar Gaffney took to Twitter today to vent about his “soon-to-be” ex wife and fellow Gator Lito Sheppard. In just an hour, Gaffney demonstrated exactly how not to use social media, and it’s not the first time. Back in November, Gaffney utilized Twitter for another probable cause: telling a Cowboy fan to go kill himself. Can’t really pull out the trusty “hacked” excuse...

Ahh, the offseason, when you wake up on your anniversary and can’t find your soon-to-be ex-wife. That’s the life Redskins WR Jabar Gaffney is living in right now and he’s unleashing the anger on Twitter this afternoon. He’s using multiple references to his wife being a *****. It seems he’s also beefing with his cousin Lito Sheppard. Yeah, they’re first cousins. The bad...

Osi: “I don’t like being a backup”

Things have been quiet in East Rutherford, NJ this past offseason, as the World Champion New York Football Giants continue to bask in the glory of their Super Bowl Championship. There hasn’t been much squawking about contracts, nor any hoopla surrounding player acquisitions, but that might be fixin to change. Osi Umenyiora, who last year [...]

Giants sign tackle Sean Locklear

Hot News for OT Sean Locklear

Giants acquire LB Keith Rivers from Bengals and signed OT Sean Locklear

The Giants have traded their 2012 5th round draft pick to the Bengals for LB Keith Rivers. Keith Rivers, who missed all of last season with a wirst injury will be the new weak side LB. He will joined Michael Boley and Mathias Kiwanuka in the linebacking field. I really like this trade a lot and Rivers can play well if he doesn't get hurt. Also, they signed former Seahawks...
