Giants Thoughts 9/1

Sorry we had no breakdown of all of the news going on with the Giants right now, from the Jets preseason game through the situation with Osi Umenyiora, but I just returned to town from a wedding. I am not going to bother with a play by play breakdown of the Jets game, because that is old news by now, but I will share some thoughts on everything Giants: The situation between Osi Umenyiora and new defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan seems to be a heated disagreement between the two, which left the Pro Bowl defensive end extremely frustrated, so much so that he did not show up yesterday. Osi eventually came to his senses and arrived for the afternoon practice section and seems to have resolved his issues with Sheridan. The big news for me is that the issue was not contract related, which could have led to a lenghty holdout.
