The New York Giants traded up in the fourth round to grab Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib with the 110th overall pick. The team now has a viable backup to Eli Manning, adefinite upgrade over David Darr. GM Jerry Reese remarked: "If he doesn't ever play, that would be great;  That's a good problem to have. If he needs to play, we're hoping that whatever time that is that he'll be up and ready to go." Nassib’s stock went soaring when ESPN analyst Jon Gruden called him the "best quarterback in the 2013 NFL Draft." Nassib was named to Pro Football Weekly's All-American team and was given the starting slot. For the last two seasons, Pro Football Weekly's All-American quarterback was last year's No. 1 NFL Draft selection Andrew Luck. The Positive: Nassib does a solid job of moving around the pocket and feels the pass-rush around him.
