With safety Kenny Phillips coming back for tomorrow’s game after missing some time with a knee injury, the Giants will be forced to use more three safety looks on defense with the emergence of Stevie Brown.
This isn’t something the Giants aren’t accustomed to. They did it the past couple of seasons when they had Deon Grant on their roster and it worked out well last year when they won their second Super Bowl in five seasons.
With the Giants currently depleted at linebacker, I’d expect to see them use one of their safeties to cover Steelers tight end Heath Miller tomorrow.
