New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden has been cleared to practice and play after sustaining a concussion more than a week ago. But running back Andre Brown is not yet recovered from a concussion from Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Barden was injured on Sept. 30 against Philadelphia. Brown is required to follow the NFL's protocol for concussions before he can be cleared, much like Barden had to last week. The Giants play the San Francisco 49ers in a rematch of January's NFC championship game. "He's not 100 percent, that's obvious," Coughlin said of Brown. "He has a concussion." Coughlin did not have an update on injured wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who has been out with knee swelling and pain in his surgically repaired foot. A MRI showed there was no structural damage to the knee. "I'm going to wait until I gather all that information," Coughlin said. "Let's take one day at a time here and s...

Giants’ Andre Brown tweets during yesterday’s game

New York Giants running back Andre Brown tweeted during yesterdays win over the Browns. Of course Brown ended up deleting the tweet since it’s against NFL rules. I’m sure the NFL will catch wind of this and send him a nice little fine.

Andre Brown Diagnosed with Concussion

Giants running back Andre Brown has been diagnosed with a concussion, according to ESPN New York.Fantasy Spin:Ahmad Bradshaw is back and healthy -- he carried it 30 times for 200 yards in Week 5 -- so Brown won't have much fantasy value going forward. David Wilson scored on a long TD run as well in Week 5 so Brown's backup role may also be in jeopardy if he doesn't recover quickly.

Ramses Barden Ruled Out

New York wideout Ramses Barden (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns.Fantasy Spin:The Giants showed in Week 4 that when Domenik Hixon is healthy, he's going to be ahead of Barden on the depth chart. Hakeem Nicks is still out, so start Victor Cruz, Hixon and Martellus Bennett in fantasy league this week. Rueben Randle likely won't see enough...

Juan Man’s Recap Of Week 5

I am numero uno this week Juan… Week 5 Recap Andrew Luck Luck was one of my sleepers this week and for good reason.  They can’t get a consistent running game going (although Don Brown was decent) and their defense is terrible.  Luck will be in this position a lot this season.  Having to throw a lot.  I will probably rank him as a top 12 for the rest of the season. RG3 There...

New York Giants injury update

You can check out the laundry list of injuries for the New York Giants below. Wide receiver Ramses Barden has been cleared for contact after suffering a concussion last week. Head coach Tom Coughlin isn’t sure when Hakeem Nicks will practice. Giants rally, keep Browns winless, 41-27

The difference between winners and losers in the NFL sometimes comes down to dealing with tough times. Ahmad Bradshaw and the New York Giants shrugged off their mistakes Sunday, while the Cleveland Browns were burned by them. Bradshaw fumbled away his first carry of the game, then was unstoppable in rushing for 200 yards and a touchdown in a 41-27 victory for the Super Bowl champions...
