New York Giants
As they Giants come off their bye week, they appear to have been served a gimmie as they face the reeling and still winless Miami Dolphins (0-6) this Sunday.
Over the last couple of weeks, we have extolled the virtues of never overlooking opponents and falling into ‘trap’ games, but if the Giants can’t win this week, they’ll have some serious problems.
As the Giants get ready for the brutal schedule that awaits them after this week, the Dolphins pose as the perfect team to feast on after the bye.
With that said, let’s dive right in and look at five things to watch for.
The healthy return of several key players
It will be a sight for sore eyes, but barring unforeseen circumstances, the Giants will welcome back the likes of Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs and Chris Snee. The bye week couldn’t have come at more opportune time. By having last week off, the Giants virtually earned a victory; by giving these guys the proper time to get healthy. Tuck’s presence alone will go a long way in uni...

We've been down this road before, but we might finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Brandon Jacobs, the perpetually unhappy Giants running back, gave an interview to Men's Fitness magazine and once again vented his disgust at the way the Giants choose to use him out of the backfield. He had 38 carries this season in four games before missing the last two...

The New York Giants will have the services of Justin Tuck and running back Brandon Jacobs for Sunday afternoon's game against the Miami Dolphins.
Brandon Jacobs entered the Giants’ locker room yesterday sporting a Michael Myers mask -- a Nightstalker Psycho model, if you want to be specific -- and joked he’d like to wear it on Sunday “but I’m not sure how that would go over with some people.’’

Tom Coughlin met the media quickly today after practice as his team prepared for Sunday’s game vs Miami. He had very little to reveal…
CB Prince Amukamara practiced and made a few plays, but was ruled out for Sunday, apparently for precautionary reasons.
DE Justin Tuck and OL Stacy Andrews are both questionable, although Tuck has asserted all week that he will play.
Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas is questionable with a lingering hamstring injury for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, while Justin Tuck may play for first time since Week 3.
What is there left to say after you’ve had two weeks to prepare for an 0-6 team? Not a whole lot. Tom Coughlin is trying to stay focused as his team appears to be finally coming together health-wise…
What does Justin Tuck’s return from injury mean to the defense?
If we can get the more players of his caliber on the field, the more flexibility we have. It is going to provide...
