With Super Bowl XLVII just a little more than a week away, the fever in the Bay Area surrounding San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is reaching pretty high temperatures. High enough to bake a cake, you ask? Why yes, yes it is. One business in particular is using some flour, sugar, eggs, butter and other delicious ingredients and then mixing them all together to create a delectable dedication to the young quarterbacking phenom. Village Baking Company, located in Modesto, Calif., has created a cake in the shape of Colin Kapernick’s now-infamous arm. Um, yummy? You know, in a pseudo-cannibalistic kind of way. Here it is, in all its glory: Pretty sweet. Get it? Sweet? Not much is known about the cake other than its existence, such as is the bakery making Colin Kaepernick Arm Cakes available for sale? And if so, will they be making cakes of his left arm for the southpaws among us and for those who prefer the tattoos Kaepernick has on that particular arm? Either way, left-handed folks can always console themselves by ordering and slapping on some temporary tattoos from KaeperTat. Or by listening to adorable 6-year-old Sarah Redden’s raps about the Niners QB. Or by simply locking the bathroom door, putting on some eye black and engage in some private Kaepernicking in the mirror. Alright, maybe that last one is a little over the top. If you’re doing that, back off a bit. The Super Bowl is still a ways away. [H/T SB Nation, image via @tannerscholtes] TweetThe post Gimme a slice with some tattoo!
