Many didn’t understand why the Buccaneers new staff elected to keep quarterback Mike Glennon on the roster. Or why give him the opportunity to compete for the starting role. Perhaps some are still forgetting the words of General Manager Jason Licht during his introductory press conference. While it was not a popular decision, you have to dive into last season’s numbers and the choices Tampa Bay has made to this point to understand what they have done.  Pro Football Focus, an outlet that provides statistical data on NFL players and gives their own grading system, broke down the numbers from last year’s quarterback play. Instantly, people see the charts and bring up the fact that Glennon is at the bottom of several of them.
