I know many people believe that the Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate should be fined for lighting up Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee during yesterday’s game.  But I’ll break down why the hit is clean in my opinion. Lee was not a defenseless player. Tate hit him straight on and not on the side. Lee failed to guard himself and keep his head on a swivel. Tate didn’t lead with his helmet.  He hit Lee with his shoulder and arms. If Tate ends up getting fined by the NFL then I’m clearly wrong.  We’ll see what happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgxc0gdlPF4

Golden Tate destroys Sean Lee with a block

There is no doubt football is a violent game but this hit on Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee by Golden Tate was vicious. Tate even celebrated after the hit, crawling to the ground and then pointing to his name on the jersey. Not sure it was right to celebrate a hit where the player didn’t even know it was coming? Then again, Tate is a wide receiver. Lee would be taken off...

Golden Tate Delivers Massive Block

Golden Tate, WR for the Seattle Seahawks, is known for his hands usually, but on Sunday it was his massive block which made headlines. Tate absolutely leveled Sean Lee from the Dallas Cowboys on a blindside block and it was ruled a clean hit. If you take a look at the video you will see that Golden Tate lead with his helmet, which is actually illegal. via @cjzero via @CJZero Article...

Seahawks WR Golden Tate’s huge block on Cowboys’ Sean Lee (VIDEO)

It wasn’t just the current Notre Dame Fighting Irish that laid a licking this weekend (on my Spartans).  Former Golden Domer/current Seattle Seahawks receiver Golden Tate absolutely knocked Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee into next Tuesday. Once Lee stopped seeing stars, he returned to the game.  Tate celebrated after the hit which the Cowboys deemed illegal.  Tate was not flagged...

Golden Tate Goes Beast Mode On Sean Lee

This is yet another opportunity to call out the replacement refs as they missed a huge illegal block delivered to Sean Lee from Golden Tate, one of Seattle’s many hopeful playmakers. This week Seattle’s entire team can take on the title ‘Beast Mode’ as they smash a Cowboys team who looked great in their opener against the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Their success...

Golden Tate destroys Cowboys Sean Lee with block (Video)

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate isn't exactly known as guy who delivers punishing hits but he decided to show off his blocking skills against the Dallas Cowboys. As Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson got outside the pocket to run for a first down, Tate laid out Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee with a nasty hit:

Seahawks/Cowboys drunken fans (fools) fight after Seahawks win

The Seahawks weren’t very pleasant hosts to the Cowboys this weekend.  Seattle’s running game had their way with the Cowboys’ defense, rushing for 182 yards on 41 carries on their way to a 27-7 win.  Golden Tate knocked the stuffing out of Dallas linebacker Sean Lee.  And after the game, drunken Seattle slobs ganged up on some Cowgirls fans. WARNING: Spicy language. A couple...

Dallas Cowboys overmatched by own mistakes

The NFL is a funny thing. Some weeks teams click on all cylinders. Everything in the playbook works, the ball bounces the right way, and the team likely enjoys a great deal of success. But then, with no rhyme or reason, there are games like the one we just saw the Dallas Cowboys play this afternoon. Games in which everyone is out of sync, (almost) nothing in the playbook works...
