There is so much rhetoric going on about the ending of the Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks game on Monday night that it was tempting to stay out of the fray.

What else is there to say that hasn’t already been said? Then Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate had to go and open his mouth and try to state his case.

  • Kudos for the Packers and there fans at the game for the way they handled a bad call. The owners are the blame and it not only has become a situation on the outcome of games but player safety. As players are hauled off on strechers with no pentalies called. The game is getting out of control. It has always been about the money with owners. As with the concussion issue there is technology for helmets to register the force a player takes to the head for years. But the owners have put that aside. Now they refuse to settle with the refs. The game I love and played ...in( high school). Has become hard to watch....even the broadcasters have begun to have there mistakes. The focus on the game has deteriorate. As for Tate he should be humble.....there is no need to throw wood on a fire.
    A Seahawk Fan I am.....sorry Green Bay.
  • Yowza! I'm not really a Packer fan. I wish Seattle would had played with the same fervor in the second half as they did in the first half. BUT- that final call was "insane". Golden-you are NOT golden-you sir are a "twit". Let's get the real guys back out there calling these games.
  • there was bad calls made both ways!! the PACK wasn't able to do squat all first half, did little else the rest of the game they didn't win because they sucked Monday night and the hawks kicked there ass for full 3 quarters. if it came down to the last play hoping Seattle didn't score....bad call yes but they didn't look like champions to me more like rogers clown show!! they showed there class by being like spoiled children and ran off the field WAAAAAAA POOR SPORTS MY KIDS DON'T ACT LIKE THAT!! POOR SPORTS.. GROW UP BOYS!! LETS GET OUR UNION REFS BACK!! EVERY GAME HAD BAD CALLS!!!
  • Wow!!!! Now that's a bad call!!! I'm from Seattle and NOT really a Packer fan but-------That game ending call was ridiculous. Mr.Tate you are NOT golden-you are a major twit. Come on Mr. Goodell haven't you seen enough.
  • Hello!!! Offensive pass interference. GAME OVER. I'm from Seattle. That was a bogus call. The Hawks have had some bad calls go against them in the past "BUT" that call was horrendous. It's not that the regular officials don't miss calls but I sincerely doubt they would have missed that one. Come on NFL owners and Mr. Goodell have you seen enough?

The straw that broke the camel’s back

After an atrocious week of officiating I speak for everyone when I say, “The time to get rid of the replacement officials is now!” I literally saw messed up calls in every single game this week, some worse than others. I saw wrong spots on penalties, a hospitalized player on a helmet to helmet with no flag, not reviewing replay properly on a challenge, wrong calls and the list...
