As a die-hard 49ers fan, I hated Brett Favre during the '90's because the Packers always seemed to take the Niners out of the NFC hunt. However, reflecting back upon his career, I have nothing but respect for #4 as he exits the NFL this week. He was a true talent, somebody who proved all the naysayers wrong and became a champion and MVP. Although he had some rough seasons in the early 2000's, he solidified his talent and leadership with last season's miraculous run. Good luck to whatever endeavors you undertake in the future Favre, it was fun to watch your gunslinging for the past 17 years.
