Malliciah Goodman wasn't surprised to be asked about his long arms after his first practice with the Atlanta Falcons. ''It's not weird,'' Goodman said. ''It's repetitive. I hear it every single day. You get used to it.'' Such is life for the player with the longest arms of any defensive lineman in this year's NFL combine. It was a tag that stuck, and it was one reason the former Clemson star was selected by the Falcons in the fourth round. The Falcons are counting on Goodman causing problems for quarterbacks with those long arms and strong hands. Goodman was one of two defensive ends taken by Atlanta in the draft. The Falcons picked TCU's Stansly Maponga in the fifth round, and the first-year players had their first NFL workouts in Saturday's rookie camp. After releasing sacks leader John Abraham, the Falcons signed free-agent defensive end Osi Umenyiora from the Giants. Goodman has a chance to start with Umenyiora. Goodm...

Asante Samuel thinks homosexuality shouldn’t be flaunted

There is no prize, Presidential phone call, Oprah interview and etc, for being heterosexual, so why is being homosexual rewarded? The simple answer is anytime you do something different or new, it gets a...

As we head into rookie mini-camp  let's take a look at the UDFA (undrafted free agents) that could stand a very good chance of making the roster or practice squad when the season rolls around. NFC South: post-draft stock watch

Atlanta Falcons, RISING: The Falcons have had a high-powered offense for some time, but this year, they've focused on their defense. 2013 Fantasy Football Debate: Aaron Rodgers vs Matt Ryan

Many fantasy football general managers fall in love with the idea of drafting the projected highest scorer in their league. It seems to be the obvious optimal strategy. If you draft the player who will score the most points in a given season, you have the best chance of winning your championship, right? Wrong. Despite being the top scorers in most leagues, quarterbacks rarely outscore...
