While disappointed his team didn’t make the playoffs, Seattle head coach Pete Carroll overall was pleased with the progress his young team made this season, even though the Seahawks finished 7-9 for a second straight year. By all measures, Marshwn Lynch had a great year. He set new career highs for yards and touchdowns, and did so playing behind one of the weakest offensive lines (at least for the first half of the season) in the NFL.
What’s amazing about the 1204 yards that Lynch finished with is that after 7 games (6 games played, and 1 he missed due to a back injury), Lynch had just 263 yards...
