The New York Jets quarterback controversy took another turn as the team signed Graham Harrell. Harrell was released by the Packers after losing out on the backup job behind Aaron Rodgers. He was 23 for 42 with 169 yards and an interception in three preseason games for Green Bay.
With Mark Sanchez’s health in question and uncertainty around Geno Smith, the addition of Harrell makes sense for the Jets. The Jets also have Greg McElroy and Matt Simms on their roster.
