Maybe Brandon Graham wasn't a first-round bust after all. After finally getting a chance to start three weeks ago, Graham has thrived for the Philadelphia Eagles. He has four sacks in three games since replacing two-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jason Babin, who was released last month. ''The opportunity comes when they see you working and see you focused,'' Graham said. ''I was just trying to stay focused, not trying to worry about how many snaps I've played. If we won and I only played one (snap), I'm happy. I just kept at it, kept at it and once my opportunity came, I was going to make sure that, at least, I was ready.'' The Eagles coveted Graham so much they traded three draft picks to move up and select him with the 13th overall pick in the 2010 draft. But Graham had just three sacks in his first two seasons, both shortened by a serious knee injury. Graham started this year on the bench playing behind Babin, who had 18 sacks last ye...

For the Eagles Addict FF Winner! I’m happy to announce that we already have a winner for the LeSean McCoy jersey!  After a competitive season, congratulations goes out to Kiss My Asomugh! (For the record, Nnamdi’s last name is spelled Asomugha…typo or purposeful?) Either way, Kiss My will be receiving his new McCoy jersey in the mail in the not-too-distant future. Because...

In his own mind, Vick still believes he's a starter

The Philadelphia Eagles have relegated Michael Vick to a third-string role for the rest of this season, but the veteran quarterback says he's looking to the future and a new opportunity with another team. "I'm not a backup. Just being honest, just being candid. I'm a full-fledged starter," Vick told Birds 24/7. "That's what I've got in me, that...

Philadelphia Eagles Clear LeSean McCoy, Could Play on Sunday

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has missed the past four games with a concussion he suffered in a loss to the Washington Redskins last month. Michael Vick says he still has 'prime' left, 'just getting started'

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick hasn't had the year he hoped for. His team has been an utter disappointment at 4-10 and his individual performance hasn't been much better either. The 32-year old southpaw has been relegated to the scout team for the final weeks of the season after beginning the year as the team's starter. Although his stock value has definitely...

Samuel, Eagles go in opposite directions

When the Philadelphia Eagles traded Donovan McNabb within their division, they got it right. When the same organization traded cornerback Asante Samuel within the NFC to a team with which they compete for a playoff spot, one cant help but think they got it wrong. Especially considering the meager compensation that the Eagles received reported as a seventh-round draft pick and...

Philadelphia Eagles: Week 16 NFL Power Rankings (#29)

Last week: 28 (-1) Record: 4-10 Net points per drive: -0.47 (27th) DVOA: -20.7% (27th) Weighted DVOA: -23.6% (29th) Nick Foles showed a little bit of promise there for a few weeks, but he struggled on Thursday Night in a game the Eagles completely fell apart in, turning the ball over 4 times in 5 plays and blowing a 13-10 lead. That loss should seal Andy Reid’s fate as the Eagles...

Sunday at the Linc: Will fans cheer or boo Andy Reid?

Andy Reid’s final stand will come at the Linc on Sunday. Image via GCobb.com Regardless of the outcome of Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial Field between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins, it will be significant day in the franchise’s history. Why? Because it will very likely mark the last game in Philadelphia for Andy Reid, the last time he will have an...

This week in “As The Jets Fly”, Vick will sign, if given lots of money

That’s right folks, soon to be former Philadelphia Eagle Mike Vick will have no problem signing with the New York/New Jersey Football Jets for the 2013-2014 season. But, there is one giant caveat: He wants to be paid more than current backup (and burgeoning male model) Mark Sanchez, and was the clear starter. To call [...]

Philly will talk with Denver's McCoy

The Philadelphia Eagles will interview Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Sunday in Denver.
