The Sports Bank:
The Jay Cutler guest star episode of “The League” began with a man talking to another man at the urinal, at a high end Chicago restaurant on the Near North side. Ok, now that the scene is set, and knowing that Jay Cutler was going to be on this episode of the FXX sitcom, I kind of thought, if even for a split second…where they might be going with this.
Sadly, they did not go there.
However, early in the program, the show’s main character, Kevin did say the words labia minora and labia majora. At a day care playground no less.
So there’s that.
Viewer discretion advised.
Then it cut back to Gibson’s Steakhouse; located in the Viagra Triangle section of Chicago. Just like in the opening minutes of the show, there was some low-brow conversation in a high brow establishment. When Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari (playing themselves) had their first speaking lines, K-Cav made a reference to breast milk, and Cutler said “this whole playground looks like a sex act.”
Which led into a dream...

Marc Trestman leads the 2-0 Bears into Pittsburgh to face the Steelers Sunday night
The Chicago Bears (2-0) take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2) at Heinz Field Sunday night on NBC. The last time these two teams saw each other was in 2009, and the Bears lead the series 17-7-1. This game will be the Bears’ first road test, and it will be a loud environment. On the other side, the...
Peyton won the Manning Bowl, Jay Cutler led the Bears to their second straight comeback win, and the 49ers were embarrassed by the Seahawks. All this and more reflected in week 3 of the NFL power rankings. 1) Denver Broncos (Last week: 1) No reason to move them from the top spot as they handled the […]

For the second consecutive week Chicago Bears' quarterback Jay Cutler found himself staring down the barrel of another ominous fourth quarter comeback drive. Down six points to the visiting Vikings with only 3:08 remaining on the Soldier Field scoreboard Sunday the reloaded Chicago offense overcame a peculiar pass deflection off of unsuspecting umpire Rich Hall's head and...
No quarterbacks in the league will profess their appreciation for their offensive line's play more than the Philadelphia Eagles Michael Vick and the Chicago Bears Jay Cutler. These two elite quarterbacks have started the year with a bang with clutch performances and big numbers. This is after a year where both players took a pounding and played well below their capabilities....
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler flashed some comedic timing guest-starring with wife Kristin Cavallari on Wednesday night's episode of FXX’s “The League.”
But Cutler maintains that acting probably isn’t in his future after football.
“It was good. But like I told Kristin it’s a lot of waiting around” Cutler said. “You do your thing and then it’s like...
“The League” has done a fantastic job getting big name guest stars to come on their show the past few years and this week they had Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and his wife Kristin Cavallari. I was surprised that Cutler looked so comfortable and performed so well on TV, especially because most of “The League” is unscripted. The episode itself was hysterical and...
The Chicago Bears’ defense is focused on getting to the quarterback after recording only one sack in each of their first two games. “Pass rush is something we need to improve on,” said defensive coordinator Mel
As the 2-0 Chicago Bears travel for the first time this season to face the struggling 0-2 Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night in the Steel City, here are five keys to look for as the Bears attempt to remain unbeaten. 1. Keep Jay Cutler upright….The Bears offensive line has been a pleasant surpirse through the seasons’s first few weeks. Left tackle [...]
The Chicago Bears won for the second consecutive week on a game-winning drive in the fourth quarter. Jay Cutler and the offense did their job to get the lead for good with minutes to spare twice, but there have been a number of areas, in all three phases of the game, which need improvement.

Jay Cutler has been better under coaches Marc Trestman and Aaron Kromer...
Here are the Week Three power rankings from various sites around the web:

Analysis, “Jay Cutler is loving the Martellus Bennett experience so far. Bennett's three touchdowns this year, including the game-winning score Sunday, equals the total of all Bears tight ends last year..”

-Best Friends Jay Cutler and Philip Rivers
Both players were projected as #2 quarterbacks before the season started and have exceeded those expectations so far. Rivers has been a top 4 quarterback after the first two weeks. I don’t expect him to stay this hot for the entire season, but his production should make owners think twice about starting him...
It’s happening. The day has finally come where the play calling in the NFL resembles my own play calling from back when I first started playing Madden.
First and 10? Streak to the endzone. Second and four? Streak to the endzone. Third and short? Streak to the endzone.
Okay, it might not be that drastic. But if it hasn’t been apparent in the past decade or so leading up to this...
1. Which 2-0 team is most likely to miss the playoffs? Which 0-2 team is most likely to make the playoffs?
Jason: I'm not buying the Chiefs quite yet. They still have two games against Denver that are automatic losses, and I don't think the games against San Diego are a slam dunk. As far as 0-2 teams making the playoffs? Aint happenin'. But since I have to pick...
