I fully believe in the “Best Playa Available” concept. It works in real football…it also works in Fantasy Football, try it. However, if sweatty uncle Teddy (Ted Thompson) finds himself in a scenario where two playaz grade out equally, and he is on the clock, this is the hierarchy that he likely has in mind:
1. Pass rusher opposite clay matthews….whether this is another OLB or DE is irrelevant. You cannot deny that this was the Packer’s downfall all season, and it was fully exposed in the playoff loss. Priority #1.
2. Aging/Injured Defensive Backs…With the uncertainty of Nick Collins (Charlie “Salt And” Peprah is not the answer), and Charles Woodson on the back side of his 30′s, talent and depth needs to be accumulated here.
3. RB – Ryan Grant is unrestricted free agent, Alex Green is coming off torn ACL, James Starks can’t stay healthy. Being a pass first offense lowers the priority here, but some blance with the runn...
