Folks, we've made it once again to that time of the year, where picnics, beer and football reign supreme!  Everyone has their own respective football team they can't live without, but for now we will talk about the Green Bay Packers.  I will try to select the most over-rated and under-rated player, and want to hear who yours are as well.
Most Over-Rated: Jermichael Finley It is an arduous task in being critical of your own, but this is solely meant to awaken and inspire.  JerMichael Finley needs to prove his game this season and I believe he will.  I thought Finley was good for approximately 75 catches last season, as the Packers, specifically Rodger's, would capitalize on Finley's perfect tight end physic (he's 6'5" and 247 pounds).  In actuality, Finley was good for 55 catches, while acquiring 767 yards.  He did score 8 touchdowns, but it was partly his poor play that hurt the Packers in the playoffs.  Against the Giants, Finley only corralled 4 balls for 37 yards and gave up on route, which, as an athlete of his talent, is just too gifted to be doing.  Most importantly, and the reason why he's my guy, is he was the league's worst with drops,14 total at the Tight End position.  Once again, there is much more ability to tap into with this guy, and I hope he makes it happen in 2012.  I have a good feeling he will.

Most Under-Rated: Nick Perry It would be a fair question to ask why a rookie would be my most under-rated player; he hasn't proved anything yet.  The reason that I chose Mr. Perry is this.  His impact will make or break this team's defense.  Not only did Clay Matthews suffer in the sack column, the Packer's Defense was rather porous because of this imbalance on the edges at Linebacker.  Nick Perry is freakish, a 6'3", 250 pounder out of USC  that runs the 40 yard dash in 4.5 seconds.  People, a man that big running that quick , I would stay out of his way.  His task is two fold; he must not only apply pressure on the edge, but also help with run support.  He's the difference maker for this team as far as being par to sub par group, or an above average unit.  Only time will for Nick Perry.
