There have been some happenings in Packers camp the past couple of days so I saw it as a chance to write up a summary of what is going on so people are aware. It seems the injury Desmond Bishop suffered during the Packers pre-season game against the Chargers was a bad one.  Bishop will be out for the season.  This is a big hit to the Packers defense that was already struggling as a unit.  To lose a guy like Bishop will really set them back and force other guys on the defense to really step up and fill his shoes.  Another injury worth noting is James Starks who has been missing practice time recently with turf toe.  This should only limit him for a little while but he has been having a tough camp and didn’t perform well during the Packers pre-season game so any time he isn’t on the field getting better is not good for the Packers. The Packers made a move to hopefully boost their running attack by signing running back Cedric Benson.  While its not a big impact signing, Benson assures ...

Benson Expected To Start For Packers

According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Cedric Benson is expected to be the Packers' Week 1 starter at running back.Fantasy Spin:Benson is the healthiest halfback Green Bay has right now so it's not surprising that he has the inside track on the starting job at this point. Fantasy Football 2012: Aaron Rodgers Still No. 1 Among Elite QBs

In what has widely become a pass-first league, elite quarterbacks in fantasy football can provide your team with something you seek out of every other player on your roster, consistent weekly scoring. While it can be argued that drafting a quarterback in the first two rounds is not ideal for a variety of reasons, it cannot be argued however, that over the last three years, there...

Benson’s Only Incentive Is To Win

Veteran running back Cedric Benson rushed for 1,067 yards last season Cedric Benson signed a one-year contract worth the veteran’s minimum ($825,000) earlier in the week. That’s not surprising. A 29-year-old running back with baggage isn’t going to command much coin in today’s NFL. The surprise is that the deal includes no incentives. But after listening to what the former...
