Green Bay will not have played a game in 10 days when it faces Seattle on Monday night.Green Bay dominated hated rival Chicago Thursday night, 23-10.Both teams are 1-1 and both teams had dismal performances in Week 1 followed by spectacular ones in Week 2.The Packers' defense that was torched and looked confused in Week 1 against San Francisco created havoc against the Bears, recording seven sacks and four interceptions. The offense that was second most prolific in league history a year ago has come out sputtering in 2012.Through eight quarters the offense has just one more touchdown, three, then the Packers' special teams of two.In two games Green Bay ranks 21st in points and 23rd in yards. Disappointing numbers, albeit against two good defenses. It doesn't get easier Monday. Seattle ranks sixth in total defense and third in points allowed.Seattle lost to Arizona in week one in a close game that came down to the last play when Seattle had a chance to win. In Week 2 they ...

Che-che-che-ha-ha-ha Juan… Marshawn Lynch is known as ‘Beast Mode’ on the field, but apparently he likes to walk around in he classic Jason mask off the field.  I think we see some skittle showers this Monday Night. Brett Favre willing to reconcile with the Packers?

The day will soon come when Brett Favre and the Packers decide to play nice. The way their relationship ended was obviously less than ideal, but time heals all. When you consider the fact that Favre played 16 seasons with the Packers and brought Green Bay a Super Bowl, it would be crazy to think the feud will last forever. During a recent interview with ESPN’s Mike Tirico, Favre...

Expect Greg Jennings to suit up

Greg Jennings missed the Packers win against the Bears last Thursday due to a groin injury, and has been hampered by the injury in the week leading up to Monday’s game against the Seahawks. That being said, coach McCarthy acknowledged that he saw a “big jump” in Jennings health in Saturday’s practice and is optimistic that his top wide receiver will take the field in Seattle...

It's been nothing but depressing news for Greg Jennings ever since he practiced Tuesday. It appears that Jennings suffered a setback with his groin injury that forced him to miss practice on Thursday, and it was the same story on Friday. Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin Limited In Practice

According to the practice report released Thursday, Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin was limited in practice because of a shoulder injury. That was not an injury discussed by coach Pete Carroll at his noon press conference so it bears watching. TE Zach Miller (foot) and RB Marshawn Lynch (back) were also limited in practice. CB Byron Maxwell (hamstring) was the only Seahawk who did not...

Pete Carroll fully supports Greg Schiano’s approach to kneel-down play

A number of mixed opinions have surfaced since Greg Schiano ordered the Bucs to play hard until the final whistle against the Giants last Sunday. Tom Coughlin was the most upset about it and Justin Tuck didn’t seem too far behind. Jerry Jones thinks the kneel-down play should be eliminated altogether and we here at LBS don’t see what all the fuss is about. Neither does Pete...
