The Green Bay Packers were able to win a passing shoot out with the New Orleans Saints by the score  of 28 to 27.

The Green Bay Packers scored in the fourth quarter and were able to survive a questionable non fumble call by the regular officials this week. After the no fumble call the New Orleans Saints were able to march down the field to set up for the game winning field goal. The New Orleans Saints kicker was able to put it threw the up rights, however the Saints were flagged for a holding call. After the Green Bay special teams jumped off sides the Saints had a chance to go ahead with a 43 yard field goal. This time New Orleans Saints kicker missed wide left and that gave the ball back to the Packers. The Green Bay offense was then able to come on the field and run out the clock by getting an outstanding first down catch by James Jones. James Jones was able to make the catch even though he was interfered with and held on to the ball from behind the defenders body.

The Green Bay Packer offense was lead by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who came back from getting a finger to the eye to complete 31 of 41 pass attempts for a total of 319 yards and four touchdowns. The Green Bay Packer rushing attack was lead by Cedric Benson who had 18 rushes for 84 yards. The other two rushers were Aaron Rodgers and John Kuhn who picked up 13 and five yards for a team total of 102 yards for the game. James Jones was able to catch two touchdown passes and was one of eight Packers to catch passes from Aaron Rodgers during the game.

The Green Bay defense was able to limit the New Orleans running game to just 45 yards for the game, however, the Saints were able to put 446 passing yards and three passing touchdowns on the board against the Packer defense. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was able to complete 35 of 54 pass attempts against the Green Bay Packer defense.

The Green Bay Packers were able to move to two and two and bounce back from the game in Seattle last week.
