Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had a monster day, throwing for three TDs and rushing for another in their rout of the Tennessee Titans 55-7.
He wasn’t the only Packer with a big day. Receiver Randall Cobb set a new team record for single-season net yardage, and RB Ryan Grant ran for 80 yards on 20 carries and scoring two TDs.
The Packers defense made sure Titans QB Jake Locker (13/30, 140 YDS, 1 TD, 2 INT) was in for a terrible day. Â He was sacked a total of seven times, but managed to avoid the shutout in the finals minutes.
The Packers, at 11-5, still have a shot at the no. 2 seed if Seattle beats the 49ers, but the win today ensure them the 3 seed.
Meanwhile, the Titans sit at 5-10 as they wrap up another dismal season next week.

Receiver/returner Randall Cobb has put up spectacular numbers in his second season
Randall Cobb injured his ankle returning a punt last Sunday, and if the dynamic second-year player can’t go in the regular season finale at Minnesota, he’ll fall just short of making NFL history. With 46 receiving yards and 36 kick return yards, Cobb would become the first player to gain 1,000...

Rodgers wants Cobb off special teams, McCarthy doesn't
Aaron Rodgers let it be known Sunday that he would prefer Randall Cobb stick to making big plays on offense -- and offense only. "He's a big-time player. Packers Think WR Randall Cobb's Injury Not Too Serious
It was the only disturbing scene in Green Bay's 55-7 demolition of Tennessee on Sunday at Lambeau Field: all-purpose star Randall Cobb walking gingerly off the field midway through the third quarter with an ankle injury suffered on a punt return.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers roll the terrible Tennessee Titans
Earlier in the season, it would have been appropriate to point out how the Green Bay Packers play down to lesser competition in close wins over the New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars at home.
Can’t say that now though as the Packers (11-4) steam-rolled the Titans to the tune of 55-7.
Aaron Rodgers was responsible for four of the touchdowns, throwing three and rushing for...

Titans annihilated by Packers, 55-7
Well, that was fun. By the time the Titans got a first down, they were down 14-0, if only because Randall Cobb failed to bring in two catchable passes. At halftime, it was 20-0. After the Packers had the ball five times on the second half, it was 55-0. Only a Jake Locker pass to Kenny Britt in the final two minutes of the game avoided the shutout.
