Green’s first Pro Bowl reception goes for TD

A.J. Green’s first regular-season reception ended up going for a touchdown. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that his first one in a Pro Bowl went for one as well. During the first quarter of Sunday’s annual NFL all-star game, Green lined up right and did a double move on Patrick Peterson for a 34-yard touchdown for the AFC’s first touchdown of the game after the NFC had taken a 14-0 lead. Green caught it at the NFC 4 after the Arizona rookie cornerback slipped at the 20 as Green was wide open. “He (Peterson) is a great corner but I got him a little bit on a double move,” Green said. “I’m just blessed. It’s like I’m living a dream right now.” It was the first touchdown by a Bengal since T.J. Houshmandzadeh had two in the game four years ago. Green is the first rookie receiver in eight years to play in the game and the first Bengals rookie receiver since Cris Collinsworth 30 years ago.
