60 Max Power O:
We all love the games, highlight reels, and fantasy football aspect of the NFL.
Truth is the National Football League is a harsh business that can be cold and cruel at times. Green Bay Packers pro bowl wide receiver Greg Jennings is about to go on that trip down the harsh lane.
Jennings recently confessed to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he wouldn’t be surprised if the Packers didn’t resign him, and he’s mentally prepared for that fate.
“Whether the contract comes with Green Bay in the near future or (with) one of the other 31 teams, that’s the reality of it,” Jennings said. “That’s the way I have to approach it. My mind-set is 20 weeks of football with the Packers and then this is it.
“This is my last year with the Packers under contract. That’s my mind-set. I’m not thinking about (the) contract. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, I have to make sure I go out there and do what I’ve been doing for six solid years here to get myself a chance to play somew

Packers S M.D. Jennings is one of the new characters in the Packers secondary.
We’ve all sat through a terrible movie before. I’m not talking about a movie where it’s so bad, it’s good. I’m talking about a movie that is just plain bad, even painful.
Watching the Green Bay Packers allow almost 5,000 passing yards last season was like watching a bad movie, for a whopping...
Green Bay Packer linebackers Clay Matthews and rookie Nick Perry have revived the team's defensive spirit. Packers fans are excited and opposing NFL quarterbacks better beware.
I recently had my first fantasy football draft of the 2012 season. While doing mock drafts online are great they can’t fully prepare you for the surprises of a real “live” draft. For one, without any computer rankings in front of them you will see a lot more reaches and surprising picks. Also depending on [...]
Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has already indicated that he doesn’t know whether he’ll be back in Green Bay next season since he’ll be a free agent after this season.
Jennings has stated that he is only focused on making plays this season and nothing else.
“My focus is the 49ers and this year and putting myself in position to make plays for our organization and for...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It's not often that an undrafted rookie performs so well during training camp and preseason that the final roster cutdown is of little worry. But that was the case with Packers outside linebacker Dezman Moses.
Before leaving Lambeau Field following Green Bay's final preseason game, with roster cuts due less than 24 hours later, Moses already knew he was...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- With eight practice squad spots available for general manager Ted Thompson to fill, the Packers kept seven of their own training camp players and added one other.
The new addition to Green Bays roster is former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman, Chris Scott. At 6-foot-5 and 332 pounds, Scott is listed as a combination offensive tackle and guard.
As the season draws near, NFL on FOX analyst Brian Billick gives his predictions for each division in 2012.
Green Bay Packers It seems odd that the 15-1 Packers are flying below the radar coming into the 2011 season. Save for an uncharacteristic four turnovers against the Giants, the Packers could have advanced to another Super Bowl. Even coming off an early playoff...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers had high expectations for Derek Sherrod when the team used its first-round pick on the Mississippi State offensive tackle in the 2011 draft.
But Sherrod's rookie season began without a starting job and ended with a broken leg. He played 115 total plays at left and right tackle as a backup before the injury in Week 15 ended his season early.
According to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com, the Green Bay Packers have ruled out running back James Starks for week one with a turf toe injury.

It looks like Alex Green will back up Cedric Benson this week.
GREEN BAY, Wis. The last time Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers met with the local media, it ended very quickly after fullback John Kuhn shoved a towel full of shaving cream into the NFL MVP's face.
This week went much more smoothly, with Rodgers and his teammates now just four days away from Green Bay's first game of the regular season Sunday at home against the San Francisco...

It was no big secret what the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers needed to improve on in the offseason to get back into Super Bowl contention.
The 49ers, who boasted one of the NFL's stingiest defenses last year, appear to have fulfilled their needs by adding playmakers on offense. The Packers still have concerns in their secondary, but somehow found a way to better an...
With the season set to open in a few days its time to update the Power Ranks. Much of the top 10 is static as the strongest clubs in the league had the preseasons that we anticipated, but, there is movement in the depths – most notably the rise of the Seahawks and the crash [...]
