According to Steelers.com the Pittsburgh Steelers resigned long-snapper Greg Warren today. Warren has been with the Steelers since 2005 when he was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of North Carolina.
Warren has played in 48 consecutive games for the Steelers. During his career he has played in 126 games including the post-season.
Financial details of his new deal are not yet known, but it is unlikely that he got more than the veteran minimum.

Steelers Re-sign FB/TE David Johnson To One-Year Contract
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue on Tuesday with their yearly process of signing their own free agents as Bob Labriola reports on Twitter that fullback/tight end David Johnson has been re-signed to a one year contract. The deal is believed to be for the minimum.
Johnson, who was originally drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round of 2009 draft, tore up his knee last year in...
Steelers should consider adding Ed Reed
Historically the Rooney family does not target the free agent market heavily. When they do, it is generally free agents which are picked to fill specific roles at a cheap price. Do not expect this off season to be much different considering Pittsburgh’s salary cap issues. While releasing James Harrison and others helps, they are still hindered and can’t go after quality free...
Rotoworld: It’s Official the Pittsburgh Steelers Release Willie Colon with a June Designation
According to Rotoworld and Spotrac the Pittsburgh Steelers have released offensive lineman Willie Colon. Colon has played right tackle and left guard for the Steelers and is a very good run blocker. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been expected to make multiple cuts since the off-season started and Willie Colon has been expected to be one of those players. Steelers re-sign Larry Foote
The Steelers have been silent this offseason so far, except for the loss of Mike Wallace of course. They need to bring some veterans back while getting younger through the draft.
